Hello readers,
This week’s episode of The Larry Vaughn Show gets personal—in the best way possible.
I’m sitting down with three incredible leaders in the print and marketing world: Jon Bailey, Jessica DeCola, and Chris Minn, who, along with David Rosendahl, launched a grassroots mental health initiative called She*t For Brains.
We’re not just talking about business in this one—we’re talking about the stuff that rarely makes it into boardrooms or team meetings: burnout, stress, anxiety, and the emotional weight that comes with leadership.
And we’re doing it the way it should be done—with honesty, empathy, and maybe a little laughter too.
Grateful you're here,
Larry
She*t For Brains
In the summer of 2024, David Rosendahl, Christopher Minn, Jon Bailey, and Jessica DeCola launched something different—a grassroots initiative focused on mental health and wellness, born from conversations around sustainability in the print industry.
The spark ignited after Jon's deeply personal reflections at Dscoop EDGE Indy in March 2024, where they realized how many professionals quietly wrestle with invisible struggles beneath the surface of their success. They set out to create a space where people could connect authentically, learn from one another, and find strength through shared experience.
What emerged became She*t for Brains.

The mission is to create a space where people feel heard and are provided opportunities to listen to others who may think or see things differently, all while feeling safe to be authentic, vulnerable, and expressive without judgment.
There are focuses on sharing practical, research-backed strategies for wellness, resilience, leadership, work/life balance, and stress and anxiety management in the workplace. Through partnerships with credentialed psychology and counseling experts and professional organizations, She*t for Brains delivers insights through quarterly sessions, social media, live events, and LinkedIn Group and Page.
This is a movement grounded in real connection, built on vulnerability, empathy, and the courage to tackle the conversations too often avoided.

In Business Cards & Shoe Leather, I share how I built a career in commercial printing while navigating the challenges of dyslexia and the realities of being an underdog. It’s filled with humor, hard lessons, and moments of clarity about what matters most: relationships, mentorship, and leading with integrity.
