I’m Larry Vaughn—a country kid from Carlsbad, New Mexico, where I grew up without much money, but never felt like I lacked a thing. Our farm life was simple and joyful. We fished, played, and had no worries about the things we didn’t have.

After high school, I made my way to Houston, TX to start a career in banking. But everything changed when I met a wildly successful paper salesman. His story lit a fire in me—and just like that, I took a leap into the print industry.

It wasn’t easy. I had a young family, no safety net, and a lot to learn. But with every risk came growth. I didn’t just sell paper—I built a company, chased innovation, and eventually sold that business with my head held high. Today, I still believe in taking smart risks, mentoring others, and building relationships that last.

Now, I’m channeling those lessons into this next chapter: storytelling, podcasting, and creating space for authentic conversations about leadership, business, and life.
